It was still very early when Mai arrived at the Pancasila University campus. The Faculty of Economics building is still empty and there is no sign from her friends, it seems they haven't arrived yet. Mai rushed to her locker, her very thick accounting book was intentionally left there. A brown envelope fell when Mai opened her locker. Mai frowned, usually black papers were there but this time it was a brown envelope.
For almost a month she often received anonymous letters like this. At first, she was scared, annoyed but after a while, she got used to it, although she wondered who sent it and what it meant. Mai just assumed that the sender didn't want her to be close to someone, but who?
Later, Mai tried to keep her distance from her male friends. Mai didn't even want Riven or Thomas to drive her home and she thought it would stop all her strange letters but it seemed all in vain. The letters just keep coming.
