Despite the suspicion he held against Skylar in his heart, Ryley still felt bad when he saw Claire faint from seeing her children getting sent to the operation room with their lives on the edge.

The pain must be too much for Claire to bear. Her husband's cheating scandal was exposed, and as if it wasn't enough, now her children had to suffer from such a tragic accident. 

Ryley gently patted his husband's back the moment he noticed his frustrated look and offered him comforting words. "They will survive... We can't lose hope..."

Clyde couldn't even say a word, he just let out a heavy sigh and massaged the space between his brows. 

The depressing silence broke when the door to the ward was slammed open and Sean stormed his way with a furious look.

"You...! Are you trying to destroy my family?!" He shouted angrily as he yanked Clyde's shirt and nearly threw a hard punch on his face.
