Lucas pursed his lips as he withdrew his knife-sharp gaze from Vincent's face. "Mr. Clyde asked me to deliver these gifts to you." He said, then took a bouquet of roses and handed it to Ryley. 

The blond's lips bloomed into a sweet smile right away. He accepted the bouquet and took out a piece of small envelope inside, then gestured for Vincent and Lucas to leave him alone.

Spring came to his heart and melted the gloominess around him, chasing away the dark clouds that stubbornly followed him on his way home. Butterflies filled his stomach by the time he finished reading each line written on the letter.
