Bab 52: Misunderstanding

The young man, Xiong Chen, came over with a serious look on his face.

"Yes, Master?"

"I will assign you to manage the Perfume store with Lu Ping."

The young man was taken aback at his master's words.

'Manage? Perfume?'

Noticing Xiong Chen's look of confusion, Song Jia asked, "What's wrong? You don't want to?"

His eyes widened. He quickly went on his knees. "I don't dare oppose your order, Master."

Song Jia knitted her brows in displeasure.

The young man misunderstood this as displeasure towards him, he kowtowed.

"XIONG CHEN!"

Anger was palpable in his master's voice. When the old man, Cheng Zedong saw this, he hurriedly ran up to them, and was about to beg for mercy on behalf of Xion Chen.

But before he was able to reach them, Wan Yan blocked him.

"Y-you!" He was frustrated that he was being stopped.

"Observe first." Wan Yan snapped him out of his scrambled thoughts.
