Bab 14: Yes
Amy's P.O.V.
"Hey Amy,
Meet me at the library later at 5PM. Don't come and you're dead.
I will be waiting,
Suga."
"Sshhh.." The Librarian hushed at me and then I just realized I'm reading Suga Min's letter aloud.
I'm both excited and nervous. Ever since freshman year I adore him, I admire him. Then one day I realized that I've fallen for him. He's just so smart and cool plus he's so handsome. But he's just too cold.
I adore him because he's the first guy who saved me from all the bullies that I encountered. It was after the first day of the first semester in the hall when some of the guys are laughing at me and telling I dress up like a granny and look like one with my long curl brown hair and with my round specs. One of them was about to take my glass's off when Suga arrived out of nowhere and said, "If she looks like your Grandma then respect her.. Or else, I'll beat you." At that time I don't know if I will feel delighted or annoyed with what he said. But still, I'm so thankful but I didn't had a chance to thank him, after that incident no one even tried to bully me again.
We're always classmates and blockmates. His seat is always at my back. But eventhough, we never had a chance to talk to each other. And now that the graduation is approaching I can't help it but keep wanting to talk to him and mostly see his smile. A genuine one. That guy has always have a poker face.
"Amy.."
I turned my head slowly, I know it's him. I know his cold voice.
"Suga." As I turned to him his face is glowing.
He's smiling.
"Shhh, don't cry." Said Suga and wipe my tears. Tears of joy, I bet.
He's not just smiling at me but also talking to me and he's touching me.
He's holding my face and he's still smiling.
I am so happy and mouthed "Thank you."
He grabbed my hand, we walked off the library and shouted;
"Hey everyone! Finally even without saying 'yes' yet, this Grandma is now my girlfriend!"
He's smiling all ears while where walking along the hallway hands still intertwined.
"Suga, wait.. I don't understand what's happe--"
"I love you." He said. "From the very first time I saw you in the hall, it was love at first sight, it is like I just wanted to save you out there but my heart says you should protect her. Follow you around without you noticing."
My tears started to fall again, he wiped it. And continue talking; "I stayed and act cold for you not to notice me or my feelings because I don't know and how to express it. I thought just by looking at you and being around you will be enough but no, it pains me. And what pains me more is that you're dumb."
He pouts. And I laugh.
And I was so glad the very first time you sent me a letter. But I don't want you to see how happy I am that's why I keep on frowning whenever our eyes met. And I'm sorry if I call you such names and said hurtful words, it is just because it seems like you are pairing me up with Irene."
"I was so lost without you. I don't know what to do and I don't know why my friends and our Professors lied about not knowing where you are. Those punks!"
I laughed and so he is.
"Everyone knows in the University that I love you but not you." He sighed. "You're not a witch because you're my fairy, a goddess behind that old woman's clothes and an eyeglasses. Amy, you are so precious to me and I'm so sorry and I really feel so bad right now, if I just told you earlier how I feel we could be. It is not too late for us right?"
His eyes is full of sincerity. "Of course, nothing's too late." I said and pat his head. And he smiled again. Oh God, if you just know how thankful I am with this guy.
The guy that I love so much loves me back just as much as I love him or more than that.
"So is it okay for me to be your boyfriend? Amy, Please say yes and I'll court you forever.
"Yes."
"YES!" His jumping and smiling like a kid now and I'm just like his grandma who is delighted seeing his grandchild so happy and gay.
"Whooooooo! I love you, Amy!!"
"Hey, Suga! I love you too but stop it now before we get called by the OSA."
"Oh yeah, I'm sorry I'm just so happy. Really."
"I know, I can state the obvious. Your gums are out."
"You meanie Grandma!" He said and we both chuckled.
