Bab 79: Impaled

Orion looked around in the darkness. It felt as though his body was spinning, or the room was spinning around him, but he couldn't see anything, except lights flickering.  The space he was in felt small yet there was no beginning or end. His heartbeat steadily increased as he frantically tried to find a way out.

Suddenly, out of the darkness, Syraah walked towards him. She had a strange look on her face. He couldn't read her. Her expression changed into a smirk as she came closer. What is happening to me, Syraah? He asked, but she did not answer. She just kept walking towards him in a seductive way.

He reached out to touch her, but her eyes switched from their natural color into a glowing red. Fangs extended from her mouth and fingernails. She slashed her talons into his chest, ripping his clothing and his flesh as blood rushed out of the wounds.

His body felt like it was falling, then he hit something, causing his body to jerk.
