"Be nice," Megan said behind him.

"I told you to let me handle this," he told her.

Wil laughed at the whole thing. KT had read him the riot act after he and Megan got serious, warning him not to take his woman. It hurt Wil that his friend somehow felt it was necessary, but he wouldn't fault him for wanting to protect the good in his life.

"Hey," Wil said, holding up his hands like he was turning himself in, "it's nothing big. Honest. You can even hang around if you want. Make sure everything stays cool."
