Bab 46: Chapter 46

The morning was quiet, or at least what Joe thought was morning, the night was still in full effect and his watch had fallen off somewhere in the ocean. The passion from last night did not carry over. Joe woke first and put his clothes on as she peeled her eyes open expecting him to still be laying next to her. He smiled when she looked up at him and she smiled back, it was awkward silence that only grew until finally Caroline tried to break the tension.

"I never spent the night in a cave before, much better than I would have expected." she chuckled at the end of her sentence.

"Yeah, it sure was something else." was all he said in reply. only after hearing how cold he sounded did he follow up with "Best cave night ever." he smiled while putting on his dry blue dress shirt. She laughed and then began to get dressed.
