Bab 74: Harmony

"BAN…I.. ..SH!"

Aldrich took a step and appeared under the Blood Devil. His hand looked small and feeble compared to the enormous chest as he touched it with his palm and tried to use the Skill.

But every syllable of the word shook his organs. Aldrich's throat felt dry and the tips of his fingers throbbed with pain. He put all his understanding into Banishing the Law, but it didn't seem to be enough.

BANG!!!

"Cough… !"

Aldrich's body got blasted dozens of meters away and he coughed out dark red blood. A shiver ran down his spine and his eyes, nose, and ears bled from the aftereffects. He got to know that his understanding, though not wrong, was not completely right either.

Unlike other Skills, failure in using Banish had serious consequences.
