Chicago 1933
Lesley and Seth stood near the giant mechanical tin man at the entrance of the Enchanted Island.
"Are you ready, hearts?" asked Seth. "This is our last chance to find out what our good friend Stanley was up to at these fairs."
"Or even what his last name is," added Lesley.
Since the crowd was thinning out, they found the perfect place behind the tin man to make their jump. They concentrated on July 12, 2033, and in two flicks of a snake's tongue, they were standing in the more recent Chicago World's fair. They decided to keep their period clothing on since it wasn't unusual for people to dress in honor of the last fair.
They read the huge holographic sign displaying in dazzling spectacle, "Two Centuries of Progress, Chicago, Illinois."
"I went to this fair four years ago," said Lesley. "I was only sixteen and went with my high school friends from Larkin. We had a boom-time."
