Bab 142: Noir’s Strange Encounter

Noir felt as if he was floating in a pool of warm water. He was too comfortable and weightless, and he could feel his body warming to a very comfortable temperature.

This was really nice, he thought to himself. He should definitely let Solis know about this!

Solis! Where was Solis?!

Noir's eyes snapped open. And he found there was nothing more than a hazy, glowing white all around him.

"Where am I?" he wondered out loud – but the result was that he could only hear the echo of his own voice and nothing else.

"Solis? Solis, where are you? Where are you, love?" Noir called, feeling all the warmth from just now suddenly draining out of him.

There was nothing but the sound of his own voice echoing all around him.

"Solis…?" Noir cried.

Once again, he could only hear the sound of his own voice echoing.
