Momma, Da, and Doc were due in the afternoon. Makai and I just needed to last on our own until then. We had breakfast together, something simple yet filling. We made two large stacks of pancakes as well as bacon and sausage. It was a go to breakfast for us that we had all the time. However, I could tell that I was still stressing out too much.

I was hardly able to eat my food. Where usually I would eat at least six to eight pancakes, I only managed one. And I hardly ate any of the bacon and sausage. I barely nibbled at the food the entire time. I just couldn't get past my nerves that were making me feel sick to my stomach. I am just glad that I didn't end up actually getting sick. Hurling right now would do very little for my delicate mental and emotional state.
