We were just lying there for a few moments. Both of us were panting and trying to calm our racing hearts. It was like we had exhausted all our energy in one go, but all we needed to do was catch our breath and we would be just fine. It was almost like the cooling off of a special skill in a video game. You just need to wait for the mana to rebuild so you can use it again.

That's a funny thought. The special skill for me and Makai was fucking each other silly. OK, he was the one fucking me, but he was getting pleasure out of it. That means that I was just as much part of the fucking process as he was. It was more than sufficient for the two of us.

"So, Ocean, were you serious about what you said?" Makai's voice held a hint of laughter as he spoke to me. His head was next to mine, and he was talking, and still panting, right into my ear. The feeling of his breath made me shiver as it tickled me.
