Third Person's POV

The young lad and Alex sat at the same table as the night before, the morning light casting everything in a new, fresh perspective. The inn was quiet, with only a few other guests stirring. It was the kind of peaceful start to the day that the young lad appreciated—a moment to gather his thoughts before they set out again.

As they waited for their meal, Alex leaned back in his chair, a thoughtful expression on his face. "I've been thinking, Rai," he began, his voice low and contemplative. "About the people we've met on this journey, the villagers, the children… It's been good to see how they live, how they're faring. But it also reminds me of how much we have to protect."

The young lad nodded, understanding what Alex meant. "It's easy to get caught up in our duties and forget about the lives that depend on us. Seeing them, interacting with them—it makes everything more real."
