Bab 49: Ridiculous Things

I felt the sudden shift in the air. It propels me into opening my eyes, warning me of a possible change. 

My feet touch the cold wooden floor as I rolled out of bed. The nap did wonders to my aching soles. Glancing at the clock on my table, it was already past lunch and nearing three in the afternoon. I slept for two hours. 

After checking my washed face on the mirror, I marched out of my room, quick in my steps to investigate the shift I've felt in the air earlier. Something must have happened while I'm sleeping. 

My feet brought me to the backyard where the air was indeed tense. Each warrior of the delegates was poised for reflex. It was unnerving to watch.

I walked towards Kate and saw her squinted eyes checking the warriors. If there's any ruckus, it's our role to diffuse the situation, given we're the host.
