Bab 139: Was Nowhere Safe?

Penelope wore a purple and blue tie dye shirt and jean shorts to the barbecue because she wasn't feeling fancy. She fully expected to end up playing with the twins so why would she wear something she cared about getting messed up? 

Her hair was tied back in a loose braid and she wore purple foam flip flops she was pretty sure she had gotten for a dollar. They showcased her neon yellow toenails that Trish had insisted on when they hung out at her place the other day. She owned an obscene amount of nail polish. 

She pushed the neon yellow onto Penelope because it was a fun summer color and it wasn't like anyone at work would see them and think they were unprofessional because she always wore close-toed shoes to work. Talking her out of it was impossible so she went along with it.
