Bab 23: Wave mission [6]
Next day Naruto made a clone for Tsunami and Inari's protection and left it in the house. Team 7 and Tazuna went to the bridge like every day. After reaching the bridge they could see mist started to form around it. Kakashi, Sasuke and Sakura tensed thinking that Zabuza backed out of the plan and came to attack. Seeing their reactions Naruto was chuckling, since he can fell their emotions.
"Looks like not everyone trust me Naruto" Zabuza said while showing himself coming from the mist surrounding them along with a mask less Haku.
"They're just not used to it that's all" Naruto said with a grin. Seeing the situation every one started to loosen up.
"I never thought I would fight along side you Zabuza" Kakashi said.
"Do you think I would? That's a fine one you got there as a student" Zabuza grinned.
"That I did" Kakashi said with his eye smile. Sasuke and Sakura was looking at Haku, Sasuke with a very very slight blush and Sakura with envy. Naruto who caught onto those emotions grinned and whispered the truth in their ear. Both their emotions exchanged, Naruto chuckled sensing these emotions.
-Tazuna's house-
Two goons of Gato was standing near the Tazuna's house with one of their hands in their swords in their hip.
*Knock* *Knock*
Tsunami who was in the kitchen went to open the door, but stopped by Naruto clone who sensed them a long time ago.
"Tsunami san I'll go open the door please stand back" saying that Naruto transformed into Tsunami shocking the mother son duo and went to open the door.
"Come with us and nothing will happen to you" the goon said after opening the door with confident smirk.
"Look at her being all good waiting for us to take her" another one said with greedy voice. Naruto was disgusted sensing these emotions and summoned two shadow clone behind them without hand seals.
"And why should I?*Yawn*" Naruto asked with a boring voice and undid his transformation. Both the goons went wide eyed and felt pain at the joining of both the legs. Both looked below to see a leg hitting them in their balls as they fell down holding their family jewels in pain. Two clones tackled them and locked them at their place.
"Inari were these guys were there when they killed your father?" Naruto asked turning towards Inari and Tsunami. They had a light tear in their eyes as they remembered that event and nodded saying yes. Naruto nodded and stabbed both their lungs with his sword for them to suffer chocking in their blood. In a few minutes both of them died due to blood in their lungs.
"Inari shall we gather the villagers for killing Gato" Naruto asked with a smile forcing them to come out of their shock. Inari smiled and nodded happily. Tsunami was happy that her husband was avenged. Nauto's clones took both the body and went to the center of the town and hanged them both with some wires. There was a poster in one of them saying 'If you want to kill Gato come to the bridge'. Inari went to all of them and convinced them to fight along with him. Meanwhile Naruto's clone went to Gato's place and waited for information.
-Near the bridge in a boat-
There were a few boats filled with hired thugs along with a suit wearing midget {Yea it is Gato} looking at the thick mist in the bridge. As they were watching, the mist started to dissipate. Gato started to smile maniacally.
"Nyahahaha, looks like Zabuza lost and the enemy is weakened, lets go kill them" Gato ordered. The thugs mixed with Naruto's clones roared with excitement.
-A few minutes before mist clearing-
The people in the bridge was talking with each other. Surprisingly Sakura and Haku bonded well, it might be because Haku looking like a girl, Sasuke was pissed off because Naruto was praised and recognized. Naruto got the memories of clone protecting the house and smiled as everything was going according to plan. Seeing Naruto's smile Zabuza got curious.
"What's got you smiling brat" hearing Zabuza everyone turned towards Naruto.
"Well the stage is set and the performers all are arrived. Can you lift the mist now?" Naruto asked Zabuza and he nodded.
"There are about 50 men coming towards us, be ready" Naruto said while everyone did their best to look exhausted. In a few minutes Gato and his men gave their entrance looking at the exhausted group.
"Hahahaha you really failed Zabuza, so I'm gonna kill you and your partner. Well I was planning to do that anyway. Hahahaha" Gato laughed like a mad man.
"Well try your best" Naruto said as all stopped acting like exhausted. Looking these reactions Gato knew he was fucked and trembled.
"KILL THEM!!!" Gato shouted and some thugs started to run, but was stopped at their tracks when an arrow hit the ground in the front. Team 7 and Zabuza turned to see Inari leading the town people carrying weapons.
"IT'S NOT SAFE!!! EVERYONE ESCAPE!!" just as Gato shouted the order most of the thugs killed the other thugs by piercing their sword through heart, stomach, head, etc. Seeing this everyone was stunned. The villagers paled, Team 7, Zabuza and Habu got into confusion and lastly Gato was literally pissing his pants. Then everyone dropped their transformation revealing it was Naruto's clones, which shocked everyone. Two Naruto went and restrained Gato, one came and held his neck and other's dispelled. Muttering 'Soul control jutsu' the clone got all memories of Gato and was disgusted by it.
"Please let me go, I'll pay you anything you want" Gato pleaded.
"Fucking pig" Naruto said as he separated his head from his shoulder. The clone then dispelled, remaining two clones started to pile up the body.
"Well that went smoothly" Naruto relaxed.
"Naruto when did you infiltrate Gato?" Kakashi surprised.
"The next day when we hired here" Naruto said with an embarrassing smile.
"Then why didn't you kill him before?" this time it was Zabuza who needed answers.
"One : I wanted our lazy ass sensei to actually train us. Two : I wanted to talk to you when you are recovered. And finally three : I wanted the people to stand up for themselves if someone like Gato arrives in the future" Naruto said while in thinking pose. Kakashi sunk his head in depression for loosing his face, Zabuza was impressed by how Naruto infiltrated and handled the situation. This time a clone came and gave two scrolls to Naruto, which has money he took from Gato after looking at his memory and dispelled.
"Here this has what I promised, double what Gato would pay" Naruto said and threw one sroll to Zabuza.
"It's good to do business with you kid, I hope we meet in the future not fighting against each other" Zabuza said with a smirk and Naruto nodded.
"Let's meet again Naruto kun" Haku said and vanished along with Zabuza. Naruto turned towards his team and the villagers.
"Like I told you Inari" Naruto grinned at Inari and he nodded.
"Tazuna san here. It has Gato's money, it belongs to all of you. I hope you return it where it belong to" Naruto said and handed Tazuna the another scroll. The clones finished piling up the corpses and dispelled. Naruto threw the stasis scroll along with the corpses.
"Sasuke wanna burn some trash" Naruto said with an evil smile. Sasuke then burned the pile with a fire ball.

Naruto was happy about this notification. Due to the death of Gato the people in the Land of waves threw a large party, since money is not a problem for them now. Everyone thanked Team 7 especially Naruto, which didn't sit well with Sasuke.
'Liz I want to use the S-rank jutsu ticket' Naruto said only to Liz not audible to Minato, Kushina and Kurama.
'Yes. What technique do you prefer' Liz asked.
'I choose the mutually multiplying explosive tags technique created by Senju Tobirama, not his imperfect version, but a completely perfected one' after Naruto choose it he got all the necessary information based on that jutsu.
After a few days the bridge was successfully built, the team preparing for their departure and there were a lot of people to send off them. Inari was trying to hold back his tears.
"Baka, it's okay to cry when you are happy" Naruto said to Inari then chuckled as Inari cried. He then ruffled Inari's hair and the team said their goodbyes. After walking for a while Naruto got a notification.
