He came around the bar and embraced Jordan in a brotherly hug where men like to pat each other extremely hard on the back.

"It has, Jack. Are you through finding yourself after Molly fucked us both over?"Jordan asked.

I saw Jack's jaw tightened and knew he still held some resentment over whatever had happened. I knew I should not eavesdrop on the conversation, especially since I had to strain my ears to hear it, but my curiosity was getting the better of me.

"I don't wish for her demise anymore. I wish for a life of torture now, so I'm getting there," Jack said harshly.

Jordan nodded sympathetically and patted him on the back again. "You'll get there, and I know just what you need. An excellent sub, with just enough challenge to keep you interested but not enough to drive you to insanity.”

Jack looked me up and down, then raised his eyebrows at Jordan.
