Bab 43: The blame

Once the initial business was taken care of, then it came time for the couple to move forward with their plan. The first course of action was to find the governor and make their presence known to him.

This would give them an idea if he knew about the assault or not and then decide which approach to take. 

A servant came to fetch them right when the morning gong rang to inform everyone that it was already 8, the normal time when everyone should be up and running about. The female followed all the codes a servant should in her decorum and even asked if they needed the room cleaned.

Of course they declined and she left.

If she was made aware about any of the previous night's activities, then it did not show on her face at all. Keito had been so sure that the governor or whosoever had planned that assault in the morning took preventive measures to keep it secret.
