“I don’t think it’s a good idea, I don’t want anyone to know that we are dating.” Se-Young said being unsure, earning a ‘really’ look from Dong-Hoon. “Don’t look at me that way. I just don’t want people to think of me as a gold digger.” she was fidgeting her fingers and pouting.
Dong-Hoon took one step towards her, placing his hands on her shoulders. “Are you worried about this because of what Min Eun-Bi said?” he asked with a tight smile but shaking her head, Se-Young replied, “No, It’s just...” she sighed before continuing her words, “I don’t like being the center of attention.” she scratched her head in embarrassment.
“Well, Shim Dong-Hoon’s girlfriend. Hmmm, it is a matter of attention.” Dong-Hoon said, narcissistically caressing his chin. Rolling her eyes, Se-Young hit her fist onto his upper arm. “Hey! why do you keep hitting me? I am not a drum.” Doong-Hoon complained, rubbing his poor arm.
“You deserve it.” she said crossing her arms.
Placing his hands on her cheeks Dong-Hoon pulled her into a quick kiss. “And you deserve it.” he said after pulling away while sticking his tongue out.
Being flustered Se-Young hit him again, earning a chuckle from him but they suddenly heard something breaking.
Actually, the clumsy Ji-Hoon was coming in that direction and accidentally broke a flowerpot by kicking it.
Se-Young hurriedly pushed Dong-Hoon away from her and ran away towards her scooty, leaving a scoffing Dong-Hoon behind.
…
Tae-Hoon was in a bad mood the whole day, sacring all his staff but on the good side, they really had started to take him seriously.
He was no more the spoiled youngest son of Shim Min-Hoon who liked to fool around with women, he was serious with his work. “Sir, this is the list of all the auditionees.” a female staff came to Tae-Hoon and gave him a list. He examined all the names and nodded his head in satisfaction looking at Se-Won’s name in there.
He gave the list back to her. “Will you be present at the time of audition?” she asked to confirm since Tae-Hoon was not supposed to do so. “Definitely.” she just nodded and left the room to notify her co-workers of the news.
After she left, the strong expression on Tae-Hoon’s face changed into a devastated one while thinking about the morning.
He gulped running his fingers through his hair. “You are an idiot.” he scolded himself, slamming his head on the table.
…
After coming back from the office, Tae-Hoon completely ignored Hani and whenever she approached him, he either ignored her completely or simply moved away, breaking her heart more and more. He even put the curtain stand back between the beds to avoid her as much as possible.
The sound of small sobs could be heard on the other side of the curtains as Tae-Hoon was ready to sleep.
He felt really bad but just could not help it.
Forcing himself to sleep he fell into a deep slumber, dreaming about how things would have been if everything was fine between them.
Hani has seen many faces of Tae-Hoon, the flirt king of the university, the caring guy, the baby boy of his brothers, the naughty son, the cheerful and funny soul but right now, she was facing his negligence and this side of him was eating her up internally.
…
Earlier that night Se-Young was packing her stuff, ready to move out when Dong-Hoon entered her room, closing the door behind.
He pouted looking at her folding her clothes neatly. “I will miss you.” he said sitting beside her and placing his head on her shoulder. Se-Young just hummed, continuing to do her work.
He rolled his eyes and said in an upset tone, “Will you not miss me?” he blinked waiting for a positive reply.
Se-Young stopped folding the clothes and turned her face towards his, which was still on her shoulder. She chuckled and said, “I don’t think you will let me miss you.” she was pointing out his clingy nature.
Scrunching his nose, Dong-Hoon sat up straight watching her doing her work, and before he could offer to help, Jung-Nan knocked on the door, “Se-Young, open the door.” and the personable couple widened their eyes.
“Hide, hurryyyyyy.” Se-Young whisper yelled in a panic while Dong-Hoon was enjoying the hide-and-seek atmosphere. “Where?” he whispered back in amusement, making Se-Young want to cry.
“Just go to the bathroom.” she pushing him in that direction and when he closed the door of the bathroom, it was her cue to open the door for Jung-Nan.
She gave a capitalist smile to Jung-Nan. “Oh, you are packing bags? I see.” Jung-Nan said sadly.
“Y... yeah.” Se-Young nervously replied.
“I just came to say that...” Jung-Nan gulped as her mood was sour. “I am not in favor of your moving out but still take care of yourself and if you face any kind of problem then you can contact me instantly without a single thought.” Jung-Nan said nonchalantly, not making eye contact.
Se-Young could not help but smile at Jung-Nan’s warm gesture and wrapped her hands around her, giving her a tight hug. “Thank you for everything... Mom.” she said remembering how Hani called her mom in the morning.
Jung-Nan pulled away from the hug, not believing her ears. “You girl, do you want me to lock you up in this room.” Jung-Nan said as the happiness was oozing out of her tone. Se-Young chuckled and asked, “I can still call you mom, right?” she smiled cheekily as Jung-Nan had already requested her to call her mother back then but she was not comfortable with the idea.
“You are such a brat. Of course, you can.” Jung-Nan said hitting her arm slightly.
The melodrama was going on when the clumsy guy inside the bathroom ended up dropping something accidentally and cursed under his breath at his clumsiness.
While on the outside Se-Young went on a full panic mode. “What was that?” Jung-Nan said worriedly thinking some intruder might have gotten into the house.
