“I am having this conversation with you right now just because I think if I can make you realize something then... at least doing something good while leaving this house will make me feel less guilty.” Se-Young gulped.
Tae-Hoon sighed knowing that he had some unspeakable feelings for his wife but he still was stuck onto Ji-Hoon liking her in the past. “I know you see her as more than the mother of your daughter. But I also know that just acknowledging that into your own heart is not going to be enough. You need to put it into your words and your actions.”
“I... I can’t.” Tae-Hoon said holding his head low, biting his lower lip.
“Why not?” Se-Young asked.
“Ji bro...” he bit his lip again, scared to state the fact. Se-Young slightly chuckled shaking her head. “Do you know Ji-Hoon is dating?" Tae-Hoon jerked his head in her direction not being able to believe his ears.
“What? Ji bro... Dating?” he was flabbergasted by the sudden news. “Yes, others know this as well. I guess you are the only one unaware of Yoo-Na and Ji-Hoon’s relationship.” Se-Young gave him a teasing look.
“Yoo-Na... Park Yoo-Na?” he asked to confirm at which Se-Young nodded twice. He ran his hand through his hair trying to process the situation and Se-Young chuckled looking at his reaction. “I think, I should ask that question once again. Do you love Hani?” she sheepishly smiled at him.
“I... I will talk to you later.” he ran away from there leaving the half-filled glass of juice on the table.
Se-Young chuckled looking at his disappearing figure but her smile died looking at the glass in her hand, which was empty by now.
She sighed remembering the conversation between Tae-Hoon and Dong-Hoon in the kitchen. She had heard everything but still chose to drink the juice because she had decided to do tonight was impossible to do without having some indirect courage.
...
Ji-Hoon chuckled as Yoo-Na sent him a kiss through the call.
“Ji bro.” Tae-Hoon called him, entering his room without knocking as always. “I will talk to you later... No, I am not doing it.” he chuckled again, cutting the call because Yoo-Na asked him to kiss her back.
“Hmmm.” he hummed smiling at Tae-Hoon, asking what you want to say. Tae-Hoon was fidgeting his fingers with nervousness. “Are you dating someone?” he asked not because he did not believe Se-Young but just for his own contentment.
“Of course, female is faster than E-Mail.” Ji-Hoon slightly laughed, knowing that his mother must be behind the news. “Yoo-Jin, your friend. His sister.” Ji-Hoon frowned his eyebrows since Tae-Hoon was behaving weirdly. “Is there any problem?” He asked and Tae-Hoon shook his head.
“No, there is no problem. I was just wondering... that you don’t like Hani anymore.” he bit his lower lip feeling uneasy. “Come here.” Ji-Hoon sat down on the bed and patted beside him, asking Tae-Hoon to sit there. Tae-Hoon complied going towards him and Ji-Hoon put his arm over his shoulder. “I will not deny the fact that I had feelings for Hani.”
Tae-Hoon was getting more and more anxious waiting for Ji-Hoon to complete his words. “But recently I came to realize that my concept of loving someone is completely different from the real concept.” Tae-Hoon looked at him in confusion.
Ji-Hoon laughed at his confusion. Shaking his head, he said, “Just know this much that I don’t have any feeling for Hani anymore and I knew you must have had some of your own thoughts about the situation that would have prevented you from accepting the relationship you were forced into, but now you should know that she is completely yours and you have every right to make her yours. Yes, only if she wants to be yours.” he ruffled Tae-Hoon’s hair lovingly. Finally, the pretty-perfect-imagined-life he had planned all those years was getting torn apart.
Tae-Hoon pursed his lips to hide his smile. “You look happy?” Ji-Hoon said raising his eyebrows, teasing the younger one.
Tae-Hoon cleared his throat. “I think I should get going. You can continue talking to your girlfriend.” Tae-Hoon pointed at the cell phone in Ji-Hoon’s hand with his eyes.
…
Tae-Hoon was happily walking towards his room, smiling to himself.
He opened the door thinking that Hani would be either sleeping or would be preparing to go to sleep but it was none of the cases.
When he opened the door, Hani was sitting on the corner of her bed, trying to press her forehead with her fingers. Tae-Hoon frowned his eyebrows in worry and walked up to her.
She was groaning due to the surging headache. “What happened? Are you fine?” Tae-Hoon asked sitting beside her at her right, placing his hand on her left shoulder.
With squinted eyes, Hani turned her head towards him and examined his whole face. “Wahhhhhh, you look exactly like Tae-Hoon. Tee-hee.” she giggled even though her head was still bursting.
Hearing that Tae-Hoon pulled his hand away from her shoulder in a shock. “What are you saying... I am Tae-Hoon.” she suddenly grabbed a fistful of her hair, closer to the scalp into her left fist. “Ughhh, it hurts.” she groaned.
Tae-Hoon could not comprehend what was happening right now. Hani was acting as if she was a little high on alcohol. “Hani-ah, does it hurt a lot?” he asked trying to take her hand away from her hair and she hummed nodding her head and he worriedly looked here and there, not knowing what to do. His eyes landed on the empty glass of juice which he filled with his own hands.
His eyes widened. “Did you drink the juice Big bro gave you?” he asked blinking at her. She did not answer him but just sighed. “Did I make a mistake with glasses?” he asked himself, widening his eyes.
…
Dong-Hoon was biting his lips, nervous about going to Se-Young's room or not. Although he himself was not in favor of Tae-Hoon’s idea, but now that Se-Young had actually drunk the whole glass he could not help but want to go to her.
