“Ah yes, Sir Argen is in custody, poison is found in his bag. He is taken for questioning.” Virgil’s face went cold as Maria put a hand on her lips.

“Sir Argen but he is the guard knight of the Empress, how can this be? What am I hearing?” Inside she was confused.

She did not have any knowledge of the Knight guard being part of the black knights or even having any grudge against the Empress. “But, Sir Argen has been such a loyal knight, there must be something missing here.”

She was shivering inside while observing the knights. “This is a very strange development. I can’t believe there would be such danger on the Empress life when we are all around her.”
