Bab 730: Bk 3: Ch– 203 The Stage(pt-1)

A drop of water fell on the stone, echoing all over the area. A second drop fell, and a third drop. The cells were silent; the only sound heard was the water droppings from the side. A few of the cells were occupied with slaves ready to be sold. They would be given as much food just to survive. The sound of the drop of water made her stir. The place where her body lay was cold. Rosa flinched as her body became conscious of the cold ground. The next sound of the water drop made her eyes open. The first scene in front of her eyes was a blur. Her eyes blinked to make it clear. It was dark, with only the torch's light making the place partially visible. She blinked several times to adjust to the darkness before turning her head.
