Bab 677: Bk3: Ch– 177 Good intentions wrong method(pt-1)

The palace was gloomy with the clouds covering the sky for the winter. There was still snow in the yard even though the sun was up the day before there was still snow on the ground still making it white. The Emperor looked at the garden from the window. Isabella tried to make the garden close to the rose garden in Rante but gave up as Nicholas was not bothered by it. She ended up making it much more than a rose garden. Nicholas watched the garden from his window.

It is one of his favourite pastimes after the practice sessions with the knights. These days even though he kept busy Nicholas would feel something was missing. The papers on his table are cleared on time the visits and the meetings are all done on time it is as if he is somehow getting too much free time.

“An Emperor should be busy, yet I see him free why?” Aldrich entered with a knock.

Nicholas sighed. “I thought people are allowed to have privacy when they climb one of the highest seats.”
