Bab 421: Bk3: Ch–49 General Omid(pt-1)

Lais walked forward to meet with the general in front of the troop. Kaizan and Tahsaeb were already down from their horses standing face-to-face with General Omid. He was kind enough to climb down from his horse and talk to Kaizan even though the words he used were not acceptable. He did not think of using honorifics for the prince except for your highness. It started with only a small bow. Rosa and Egil who followed Lais noticed the attitude and glanced at each other. They were mentally preparing for anything that goes wrong.

“You be number one I will go for two.” Rosa murmured to him.

Number one back in empire means to be a shield while the sword is two. Just like in a battle you try to defend first from the attack then bring out your sword.

“Sir, there are at least fifty soldiers in front of us,” Egil replied in a low voice. “They will surround us fast.”

“I am not alone Egil. Make sure to pull back and form a protective circle.” Rosa ordered him.
