Bab 23: The Half Blood Princess

Hazel's multicolored eyes glowed fiercely like the flames of a thousand furnaces, the thunder storm increasing in it's intensity. Yuka and Kai stared at her, amazed. "Yuka? W-what's going on?" Hazel asked. She was starting to panic and this emotion fueled her powers. Kai flinched at the sound of a terrifying thunder clap. Yuka held out a hand to Hazel, his gaze locked with hers.

"Don't panic. You need to relax. Trust me, you don't want anyone else to know about this" he said and tears filled her eyes.

"I-I'm scared"

"Hazel, you don't have to be scared. You need to get a grip of yourself, the sky is turning red" Kai said and she looked up towards the sky, her eyes widening when she saw that he was telling the truth.

"What do I do? I'm really trying-"

"Give me your hand" Yuka said, his eyes glowing a bright purple.

She hesitantly stared at his outstretched arm.

"I don't want to hurt you" she said, looking worried.

"You won't"
