Ruby's lips parted but eventually, she simply nodded without saying anything. 

As Aleister and Esme left the room, Leo jumped off the bed and followed them without a moment's delay. 

The guards closed the door. 

Ruby awkwardly glanced at the closed door and reached out to touch her neck. She spoke up with a soft laugh, ''They are behaving strange…'' 

Her words were yet to finish when Adrian grabbed her hair, pulled her closer and captured her lips in a rough kiss. 

He kissed her so hard that she could feel the pain on her, in her heart, intermingled with pleasure all so good. 

It was about him, she believed. The man knew how to make everything feel so good. 

Adrian yanked her closer when she struggled to get out of his grip, ''No,'' he whispered against her mouth, biting her lips hard, ''You do not stop me, Ruby.''
