''Is that what you need?" 

"This is what I want,'' Esme turned around and walked towards the window, clutching the sheets tighter around her body. 

She was greeted with silence. 

Esme turned around only to find the room empty.

She sat on the cold floor quietly as she drew lines on it with her index finger, the very same finger which had been drawing on his chest. 

Esme did not realize when her eyelids started getting heavy and her breathing turned even as she leaned back on the wall and dozed off. 

A shadow enveloped her as Aleister pulled her up in his arms and carried her to the bed. 

He placed her down gently and glanced at her face for some time before he stroked her hair.
