Bab 173: He survived...

In the next moment, a glow illuminated the room as a woman stepped inside while holding the candle, 'It's you…?' The candle dropped from Adeline's hand when she saw the gory scene on the bed. 

It took her some time to realize that…. her sister-in-law and the child had been slaughtered. 

Marilyn was disappointed that she could not kill Adeline as people rushed to the room hearing the noise but at least… the child was dead. 

With a satisfied smirk on her face, she extended her hand towards Adeline, a black thread seeping out of her finger, aiming at Adeline's heart. 

Blood spurted out of her mouth.

'She will die,' Aunt Greta told Marilyn, 'No one can save her.' 

Marilyn opened the portal and disappeared from the place as the people rushed in. 

But what she did not know at that moment was that instead of killing Adeline's son, she had killed King Alexander's son along with his wife.
