Bab 426: Illusion -2

When Donovan opened his eyes he saw the illusion crumbling down and reality appeared.

The crest had broken the illusion and now he could see the real picture.

On the ground, he could see many footsteps which were his clue.

He checked all of them and followed the trail of one in particular which was going up to the mountain.

The illusion must have prevented both of them from seeing and hearing each other.

And just like him, she might have gone up to find him.

Because if she had gone down she would have already come back with Zivan and others to find him.

Donovan didn't think twice and ran at high speed following her footsteps.

His speed was very high and he soon reached the destination where her footsteps had stopped.

Donovan stood in front of vast ground of snow and nothing else.

The trail of Silja's footsteps had stopped there but there was nothing there.
