Bab 313: One Year To Annule Marriage

"After we brought you back we announced that Doris gave birth to you during the trip. We kept you hidden from the public eyes till you were one year old. So no one gets suspicious," king Evan smiled remembering the day when they officially announced Silja as their daughter.

"Did mother accept to take me as a daughter?" Silja asked.

"She was not in much favour. Her love for Benji is so deep that she didn't want to share it with another kid. But deep down she understood that if not for you that man wouldn't have cured Benji," 

Silja nodded at his reply.

"Why did you adopt me? You could have just raised me as a servant or given me away to someone?" There was no need to bring her back and announce her as princess of the kingdom.

"To raise you as a servant? Am I that bad in your eyes now?" King Evan lifted his eyebrows.

Silja hurriedly shook her head. She was just stating the possibility.
