Bab 256: Met White Granny

"I have a guard," said Rany while still riding the motorbike. The cold air from the mountains as well as the night air seemed to hit her head-on. She had swayed while driving, with her body like being dragged backward.

The engine roared pitifully. The bike was too old to ride.

"Guard? What do you mean?" As far as Lia, she never saw a single guard at Rany's house.

"You can't see it can you?" asked Rany again. "They're the kind of genies that follow me."

"Genies?" Finally, Lia just remembered that Rany grew up in a family that believed in mystical things. "So you have a genie with you?"

"It's a bit arrogant to say I have a genie with me. But they have been willing to come with me since I was born."

Lia looked back, looking at the drunk people who were currently screaming incoherently.
