 Lia languished where she stood, slightly dazed. "But… but why? What did I do wrong? I don't think I did anything wrong at all. Why so suddenly?"

 "All bosses have the right to fire their employees even for no reason, you understand that. You have to know where you are and where you stand. You're just a subordinate, who has no right to make sure you stay here.
