Bab 242: Unbelievable

Seth noticed that Ruby had been particularly quiet for a while now. He had not wanted to ask her in order not to bug her but now, he thought that it was getting out of hand and he needed to find out why she was the way she was.

It was mid-day in the Red Kingdom when Seth returned from training with the soldiers. He was covered in sweat even though the weather was still very cold. Seth stepped into his chambers and met Ruby at his desk reading a book.

"Ruby..."

Ruby jerked and looked up as if she had only heard him call her name and had not heard when he opened the door. It was quite obvious to Seth that there was something heavy on her mind.

"Seth..." Ruby said, "I didn't hear you come in."

"I know..." Seth replied. "Do you want to talk about what is on your mind?" Seth asked with his face showing deep concern and worry for his beloved.
