Lily Malum stopped in her tracks and watched the hooded man walking away from the king's room. Who was that? she thought. That must be something important. For that man to have come out of the king's room with his face covered... it disturbed her. Lily Malum had an inkling of how h king did his things. And for her not to know about a new project he was working on meant that he was keeping it a secret from everyone- including her. 

Lily Malum was hurt. This was not how she and the king related in the past. It was almost like they were two peas in a pod and now, she felt left out. She was definitely going to mention to the king that they had to return the harmony between them. Where had the trust gone? There was a time that Lily Malum felt that the king depended on her for answers because she could seek the face of the gods.
