What Seth saw in his mind's eye was not pleasant. "Please, Ruby. Do not make me hurt someone. Do not see that man even when we return to Ziviel", Seth said.

"Promise me"

Princess Ruby stared at him as his eyes were still closed.

Seth could not calm what was going on in his body anymore.

Ruby watched as the skin that was on the side of his face that his snake eye was on, changed to scales.

Seth opened his eyes. "R-Ruby..."

"Yes, Seth?", she replied. Her eyes were wide open again.

Seth pulled her into his arms and held her tight as if his life depended on it.

"I do not want to hear that name again"

Ruby did not need to ask or clarify from Seth about what he was saying, or the name he was referring to. She grabbed the sides of her dress and held the material in her fists. Ruby felt nervous and her heart ached. She did not know if it was because of what was happening, or if it was because of Rudy.
