Bab 2: Reborn
In the three worlds, there has only been one person to rule them all, the devil Jin Zhi. Jin Zhi was an unparalleled genius in martial arts in both the demonic and orthodox styles. He had dual martial spirits, the dark devil dragon and the light heavenly dragon.
So what was his journey? He had mastered every martial art in the land and had become both a pill grandmaster and formation grandmaster within 100 years of his rule. Within 1,000 years they revered him as the ultimate immortal with him reaching the peak of the Half-God realm.
Now he had collected enough resources and was ready to breakthrough.
"Finally the God realm here I come!" He roared shaking the three worlds as he began to breakthrough.
"No what is happening!" He screamed in pain as his Qi went wild and destroyed his body was beginning to break down as the Qi slowly enveloped him it blew up causing a great sonic boom throughout the three worlds. The devil Jin Zhi had died.
"Jin Zhi what are you doing!" Shouted a male voice.
"W-who dares call my name!" Jin Zhi Roared as he opened his eyes to see a man in his mid-twenties hitting him.
Jin Zhi tried to use his Qi to realize he had none.
"M-m-my Qi, all my cultivation....gone!" He thought to himself.
"Why are you not practicing with the rest of the Jin clan huh!" the man shouted.
Suddenly a massive headache hit Jin Zhi showing memories of the body he was currently in. This Jin Zhi was 13 and had to start cultivating with the rest of the Jin clan. However, because Jin Zhi was bullied since young by his cousin, JIn Bao, he was afraid and would always skip training but now his father, Jin Fei, had found out and had come to beat Jin Zhi and force him to go.
"Father stop! I will go tomorrow, is that acceptable?" Jin Zhi asked.
"Boy, do you promise?!" Jin Fei asked with a stern look.
"I do father." Jin Zhi replied with a determined look.
"Sigh~ fine. However, If I find out you do not show up then trust me you will have a hard time.
"Father I will train hard." Jin Zhi replied.
"Good you must." Jin Fei responded.
"Father I will not disappoint you." Jin Zhi replied.
"Good good~ in that case I will leave you be." Jin Fei said with a slight chuckle as he finally left.
As soon as he left Jin Zhi sat in a lotus position and entered his mental space to look at his new body. He saw three martial spirits, the first two were his usual dark devil dragon and light heavenly dragon. The third martial spirit was a sword, not just any sword, Jin Zhi recognized this sword, it was the sword of space and time!
"This must have been what brought me here but when did it appear in my space?" He thought to himself.
"I guess their martial awakening is just to help those who could not awaken their by itself but either way I should start cultivating to see the density of Qi and how this body will cope with my cultivation techniques." He thought as he began to bring Qi towards him.
He slowly condensed it breaking through to the Qi realm; 1st layer, 2nd layer, 3rd layer, 4th layer, 5th layer, 6th layer, 7th then finally stopping at the 8th layer.
"I should stop here and train my body and martial skills." Jin Zhi thought as he walked outside to the courtyard and grabbed a stick and performed the first move of the 'Devil's wraith' which instantly caused a slight tremble with that one sword movement.
"Good I will practice this but I cannot neglect 'Heavens glory' with these two sword techniques my swordsmanship should be the best considering they are both God tier skills I created over my reign. Now for a martial technique that will refine the body "Dark Destruction,' this will break the body constantly improving it and with 'Heaven's light' which heals the body it will allow quick practice in refining the body and within 2 years my body could probably reach the same level as a Xuan...no Tian tier weapon. Then for a movement technique, I think 'Fleeting Shadow' is good enough, and then for a fighting technique I can use 'Rising Sun' with all these I can reach the Martial Sovereign within the two years too." He thought to himself proudly.
Jin Zhi then continued to practice all day until night arrived where he once again began to cultivate....
