The thought made the color rise on Prudence's face as she remembered the closeness. Distracting herself she bowed to Drakos and mounted the horse. Drakos was silent letting her bask in her thoughts as he did not speed up the horse.

"Is His Grace not joining?" Prudence asked finally.

Drakos only shook his head, "unfortunately Lord Dominick hadn't returned from his previous visit to the north. He should be riding back."

Prudence thought why would he even need a carriage ride when that Vampire was so fast?

However, her ears stood on what Drakos said. Her brows creased in confusion, "He returned last night."
