"Amber, I know you're still awake." Jowanna walked closer to the bed and sat at the corner. "Talk to me, Amber."
Still, Amber didn't respond. Jowanna took a deep breath and let out a long sigh. "Amber. I'm sorry."
Amber finally moved a bit. "Why are you apologizing?"
"Because... I was so insensitive earlier. I didn't mean to offend you."
Amber turned around to look at Jowanna, she was still lying on the bed and was covered by the blanket— only her face was seen. "It's fine. I am not offended or something. I also understand you."
Jowanna roamed her eyes around the room. "Can you still see them?"
Amber shook her head. "They disappeared when I ran outside."
"Did you miss them?"
"Yes."
Jowanna caressed Amber's hair then she smiled softly. "I felt the same way. I miss Heidi, too."
