"Goodness. Why did you choose this place to bury him, mom?" Trish complained while following them.

It was indeed necessary to slightly exert some effort before reaching Timothy's tombstone. Sharrie just chuckled. "It was your father's request before. So, I just did what he said.

Sharrie looked at Tristan who was walking ahead of them. "You knew the way. I thought you forgot it since you're not often coming with us to visit here."

Tristan looked over his shoulder. "I went here with Grandma."

Sharrie nodded. "I see."

Trish could feel the awkwardness between her brother and mother. To be honest, she knew right away what her mother's intention was. But, for now, she couldn't help much aside from closing the gap between them. Her first move was switching her seat with him. Although it was a bit useless because they didn't have much conversation.
