Whifler once again caressed his tombstone. "Dad. Are you happy there? Well, me. I am doing fine. M-Mrs. Fuentavilla nurtured me so much."

Yes. After his father's death. Lauren took good care of Whifler. He actually became a substitute for her son who ran away. For at least, Whifler eased her pain a bit and longingness for a brief moment. Whifler distracted the old woman from being depressed and miserable. Hence, he had this kind of position in Fuentavilla's company. He had been always a part of the family.

"Father. Did you meet mom, there? Are you looking for me, huh?" Whifler's voice was cracking. "You know, dad. Things are getting complicated lately. I don't know... Uh. It's just that there was something that happened. One of my friends died which stirred everything up."

Whifler bitterly smiled. "Is she with you? If she is. Will you please tell her to help us? Because... I felt like we are slowly falling apart."

Whifler's gaze lowered. "Guess, that's all for now, Dad."
