She instantly went on her knees, her head lowered. "Please, forgive me, Your Highness."

"Forgive you?" Princess Rose sneered. "After playing around for an entire day?"

She grabbed Hilda by her hair, yanking her close. "Who were you with, huh? Which man did you seek to fill your useless hole you whore!"

Hilda's cheek turned bright red and a small stream of blood escaped her lips. Her body trembled from the pain but she held back her tears. "I-I wasn't with any man, Your Highness." She said. "I swear, I am innocent."

"Then where have you been?" Princess Rose demanded. "I gave you just one order. Make sure that Griffith is dead. Did you need an entire day to confirm it? Useless!"
