Clarissa looked up at the beast which flew above her. The sight of silver scales which lined every inch of the beast's body and its wings had her gasping in surprise. 

She had never seen anything like it. 

What creature is this?

It's tail was as long and slithering as that of a snake's. The creature somersaulted high in the air and it's wings stood proud in mid flight as it turned to face her. 

Its eyes were purple without the red edges which was an exact replica of Kieran's. 

Chills spread over Clarissa's body as those eyes focused on her. It wasn't their familiarity but the hostility in them that caused the chills.
