Bab 154: Chapter 154: Nevin’s Wee Castle

Six days later, Bella sat in her suite in Nevin’s “wee castle” outside of Edinburgh.  At her insistence, Luke was staying in town that night at the Balmoral, the hotel where this whole crazy thing had begun.  “It’s bad luck for the groom to see his bride before the wedding,” she’d reasoned.  He’d humored her, of course, simply because Dom or not, he loved her and wanted her to be happy.  As she gazed at her reflection, she second guessed her decision to spend their final single night apart.  She missed him.

There would be a bachelor party tonight at McTavish’s.  Bella wondered how that would go.  Luke had phoned earlier to say that Charlie had checked into the Balmoral.  Her brother and his family hadn’t yet arrived.  There was some weather snafu on their end.  Hopefully they’ll get here in time, she thought.
