Bab 110: Chapter 11

The silence is deafening.

But it won't be for long. Fawn and I now each have something awkward to address, a little off the rails behaviour. I'd love to keep the discussion postponed indefinitely and I'm certain she would too but we're closing in on Cleo's hotel. 

And we both know if we don't spit it out now we won't give it mention again. Because of this, I'm not surprised when at the last traffic light she says, "Pretty up close don't you think? Excessive even for me."

"Hah! Even for you? Miss Plasma the Punching Machine." I scoff, "What is that about by the way? What has you so worked up you take it out on a guy we could wrap off."

"Wrap off? He could control density! Heck I'm not sure why he didn't shake you off him, we've got damn good luck if he was that dumb and inexperienced."

"Shake me off? I pause time, if I have you there's no escaping me. If you didn't underestimate me you'd consider me a threat enough to know that."
