I focus my attention back on the legendary bounty hunter. Durado is much more than I expected him to be. If he exists, so do others like him. More people of legendary status, I can safely assume it's not limited to bounty hunters and mercenaries too. An officer in an army to a particular government can have a status like that, a famous general or commander for actions in the line of combat. "I'm definitely interested, Durado, but I don't have any of the tools necessary. Chasing such a criminal is going to be very hard with the experience you have." I'm keeping it 100 percent real.
Misleading both of us into thinking I can handle a criminal like this is immature. He lifts his hat slightly and takes a drag from his cigar. He is probably late 30's to early 40's. "You can be taught. It's about time I took on a protege after all these years. You read his name, right?" I nod my head. This bounty target's name is Ziller Maxx, and his bounty is a whopping 400 million credits. We can turn him in at any government. He is wanted by pretty much all of them. His information reads dead or alive for the full bounty.

I read the new message from the system as I continue to read Ziller's file. "I'm up to the challenge of being your student for this mission. If it goes well, you think you can take me as your permanent student?" I'm doing as the system asked, but it might be too much to ask if my reputation with him is only intrigued. He doesn't let any notion of what he's think appear anywhere on his body or face. He stops leaning against the wall and crosses his arms.
He smiles just a little and tilts his cowboy hat down to hide his face. "You'll need to get a blaster, and if you do well on this mission. We'll talk about you becoming a bounty hunter under me." I really love the thought of being a bounty hunter and chasing the scum of The Aeternus Universe. It could prove to be a real blast. Even open up possible doors to find my homeworld. "I'll be back in a week's, and I'll have new information. Be ready by then, and don't go anywhere." He turns with his still hidden head and leaves.
It looks like I'm not going anywhere for the next few weeks, and that means getting my pilot's license isn't that important now. I have an opportunity to be mentored by a legendary figure in The Aeternus Universe. I'm still going to get it, but now I'm not going to be leaving Empyrian. I'm pretty sure a lot of people are getting close to that minimum credit price for a hyperspace capable ship, and I'm not going to be among the first to leave the system.
That's perfectly okay to me, so now I have to wait for everything. The worst part about anything is the time you have to sit through to get to it. I'm really not fond of waiting, so I'm going to go and get a good blaster and holster. I already know places that have shooting ranges, thanks to my mind. I head for the sliding door and make my way out of the shop. I head down the path that leads to the exit of the spaceport. Of all the shops I've seen in here, none of them sell blasters.
So that means I have another trip around Newton-14 to do. There are a few close by, but none of them sell anything of great quality. I know of one, though. I turn left and follow the metal path along with the rest of the aliens and players.
