[The Player Can Enter The Fifth Floor.]
SIGH~
"I don't remember what happened," he muttered.
Ziro's sword was on the other side of the chamber, and he was lying on the floor on his back, looking up at the ceiling.
After Alina sacrificed herself, Ziro somehow managed to defeat the monster, but he didn't remember how.
Everything turned blank after Alina died, and when he was back to his senses, he was lying on the floor.
Ziro opened his menu to see his new stats:
Level- 11
HP- 220 (+ 40)
ATK- 111 (+ 20)
DEF- 110.
AGILITY- 114.
MP - Locked.
"My body hurts all over, almost as if all my bones are broken."
Ziro got up and glanced around the room, and picked up his sword. He looked at the open door which led to Floor 5 but shook his head and muttered, "Nope."
He opened his menu and left the Tower of Skaldi to get teleported outside the tower.
Ziro immediately closed his eyes and covered his eyes because of the bright light of the sun.
"Argh! I was in the darkroom for a while, so now the sunlight seems too bright," he groaned.
"Alina should be at the login point since that's where all the players respawn after dying." He glanced around to find the closest path to the login point.
"I should just look at the map." Ziro opened the map and set a waypoint to the login point. As soon as he did that, Ziro could see an arrow mark in the sky, with the text 'This way' written on it.
"Not bad," he muttered.
Suddenly, someone covered Ziro's eyes from behind and said, "Guess who?"
Ziro immediately turned around and hugged Alina, even before looking at her face.
"Did you clear the floor?" Alina asked.
"Yeah, somehow."
"So you won, huh? I guess I now have no choice but to marry you."
Ziro hugged and hugged Alina tighter as if he never wanted to let her go.
"Ziro, everyone is watching us," Alina informed.
"Let them watch."
Even if it was in a game, seeing Alina die like that with his eyes, Ziro felt terrible.
"Are you angry?" Alina asked.
Ziro finally let go of Alina and asked, "Why would I be angry?"
"Because… I died on my own?"
"Now that I think about it, I should be angry." Ziro frowned his face and asked, "Why did you do that?"
"Because I wanted to look cool," Alina answered with a grin.
"I got some… actually, many rewards for clearing the floor."
"Did you get any skills?" Alina asked with an excited look on her face.
"Yeah, I did. I also got some titles and items."
"Show me. Show me!" Alina asked curiously.
Ziro opened his menu and let Alina see everything.
"Level 11! Wow!" Alina exclaimed.
She looked at Ziro's titles and skills and read everything.
"This is some good stuff. You might even be able to one-shot your opponents if you play the cards right."
"I also got two items." Ziro opened his inventory and passed his hand through the items.
Two oval-shaped orbs appeared in Ziro's hand; One was 'Phoenix's Blessing', which was golden colored. And the other was 'Phoenix's Curse' that was black colored.
Alina read the information and muttered, "They are the exact opposite of each other, but if you use the curse after the blessing, then your HP won't deplete, and you will be technically using the opponent's HP to kill them."
"Yeah, but I don't want this," Ziro asserted with a straight face.
"What, why?! Didn't you say you are going to surpass me with this? Then surpass me and show me. The day you surpass me in this game is the day I will marry you."
"I couldn't even defeat that monster on my own," Ziro uttered.
"But you in the end, right?"
"I was able to do it with your help."
"You lend the last strike, and that's what matters in the game. No one sees who did what amount of damage or who sacrificed themselves; the one who stands until the end is always considered a true winner," Alina declared with a cunning emotion.
"Fine. But you have to take at least one of the things I got," Ziro groaned.
"You can't just share stuff like that. The games have limitations to the things the players can share among them."
"I know I can't share the titles or my skills. But I know I can share items, and I am giving you this…" Ziro handed Alina the golden orb of Phoenix's blessing.
"Take it if you love me," Ziro asserted.
'With this, she will never run out of HP as long as the opponent is alive.' Ziro didn't want to see Alina die in front of him, ever again.
