Bab 50: I'm sorry

When Dhruv received that phone call from Riya, he was in the middle of a family discussion. They were deciding on how many rooms to be booked for Niranjan and Tanya's wedding and the guest list. Already this topic was stressing him out, as every time Riya's name was mentioned he was going through mixed feelings. Since he couldn't avoid the conversation anyways, he was sitting with the family and feigning attention. 

But as soon as he saw Riya's name on the phone screen, his poor heart was about to explode in happiness and agony at the same time.

He immediately excused himself and attended the call. But all his feelings vanished when he heard her tone and demeanor. She was completely drunk which was unlike her, and there was some guy with whom she was enjoying the day. He couldn't fathom if there was really a guy or Riya told that to spite Dhruv. Whatever it was, he couldn't leave the matter at hand lightly.
