Bab 11: My Things
[Episode 11]
I've been walking around Haven for a while now, yet how have I only just noticed the lack of shopping bags on me?
There's no mistaking it, when I came to Pietra, I was definitely carrying a backpack and three plastic bags. Although most of the things in them are useless to me, I can still use the food and water.
Just where could they be? Has someone stolen them?
In an attempt to find my things, I aimlessly walk around the room, sticking closely to the bare walls. It would be great if someone just so happens to be carrying a black bag.
From what I've seen so far, there are people with backpacks but none of the same brand and colour as mine. There are quite a few women with handbags and men with briefcases but no black sports bags.
Oh right! People closer to my age might carry a backpack! Well never mind then, all I see are teens with colourful school bags. No need to lose hope! I should still be able to find my plastic bags. I notice a few people with plastic bags, but they clearly aren't from my local store.
A tall man standing a few centimetres away from me says, "Your name is Fuyu, right? Take a look at what I found!" The brusque voice continues, "Item box."
The girl he's talking to is the same girl with those powerful skills from before. She makes a bewildered face because of the blue hologram that pops up and proceeds to also chant the words 'Item box'.
Although I haven't found my things just yet, I'm starting to realise that walking around aimlessly has its perks. This item box thing seems convenient. Looks like I can store anything I collect in it and remove them when needed.

What do you know, luckily my lost bags aren't actually lost, just stored in my item box!
Now that I think about it, maybe because I fainted during teleportation into Haven, my bags were sent into my item box. Other people are grabbing their items out of their screens, so I'll do the same and pull out my shopping bags.
I've taken out my shopping bags and my backpack, it might be best to spread the groceries out and confirm what items are most useful.
With my items sorted into different piles depending on usefulness, only four out of the forty seem completely useless. The four items are all make-up products that my sisters made me buy. I won't be needing them any time soon so I'll just leave them in my grocery bag and keep the other items out separately in my item box.
The useful items are these clothes which were meant for my younger sisters, shoes, various food and drink items, this towel which was initially meant for swimming and these hair products my oldest sister wanted me to buy.
She was complaining about something to do with always breaking hairbands and using up conditioner all the time, so I decided to buy them for her since I was already in the store.
I should probably put these items away before someone decides to steal from me, but I'll keep this bottle of water out since I'm a little thirsty.
Sipping on my bottle of water, I start to wonder what my sisters are up to right now.
Have they realised that I'm gone yet or have they forgotten me? Are they looking for me? Are they missing me?
An image of their angry faces pops up in my mind. It couldn't be that they're fighting for food again, right? Are they eating well? I didn't manage to bring them their snacks or cook dinner today. Ah! There I go again. Thinking about my sisters all day. I hope they're ok.
