Head Sage Yue returned to the Pearl Kingdom with Regent Prince Yuki and Aoi. He had already arranged for Aoi's family to be brought to the imperial palace while he was still at the Emerald Kingdom, so Aoi had a pleasant surprise waiting for him when he arrived at the Pearl Kingdom that night.

"Thanks, Uncle Yue," Regent Prince Yuki said gratefully, watching his boyfriend being hugged amidst a flurry of laughter and joyous tears by his parents and siblings.

Head Sage Yue smiled slightly and patted his nephew's shoulder. "Yuki, I know that I have been remiss in the past, but please rest assured that you are no less than a son to me – in fact, you are probably more of a son to me than Raven is, in some ways, given I brought you up with my own hands – and no matter what happens, you will always have my support and protection," he said gently. "And I promise that I will make up for my past mistakes to both you and Raven."
